Update I'm grouping the last few updates together for brevity. At the moment Symmetry is trying to gather up materials for a run through Europe, I believe, in order to find publishers for their product line. This includes Tyrian GBA, and the prospects seem good, so I'm hoping they'll be reestablished. In addition, I'm talking to the head of the company to see if we can do some periodic sales despite the main offices being currently closed for financial reasons. There have really been too many emails from people interested in the product to let Tyrian PC remain dormant for so long, though I can't be certain how we'll try to support the game. At that point I will definitely move my technical support documents online. There's a few new projects that have been started by members of the World Tree group that we're quite excited about, however nothing is quite ready to post. One potential product is a city-type simulation where the player attempts to create a paradise on earth (which is really a front to get happy, enlightened workers dedicated to the city owner's factories) despite attempts by rival paradise owners to outdo or destroy their city. Another circles around a rather interesting way to render graphics on the GBA which as far as we can tell is quite different from those done before. Though tools for that are still in development. Other ideas still wait in the wings. ChoiceGM is also currently trying to regain position after the events of last year and I urge anyone interested in playing their own event-based mp3/wma/etc music in Quake3 or Unreal Tournament to check out their website at www.choicegm.com. It's free! It's fun! And you get to play anything, like Devo and They Might be Giants, while blowing people up with large rockets! Vive le rockets! And finally, within the next day or two we'll be moved to our own domain at www.worldtreegames.com. |

Tyrian and Symmetry For anyone still curious or in need of Tyrian 2000 PC help, the Symmetry site and resources are currently down. If anyone needs something, feel free to email me. There may be a delay, but I'll try to find what you need. I don't think it's currently able to be purchased, but I can notify anyone interested once I find out for certain. We're still working hard on Tyrian Advance, with a long list of bugs and features that are being ticked off one by one as they're implemented. It's my hope that we create a game faithful to the original, and at least as good, despite being in a little, tiny cartridge. |

| ::2 - 3 - 02 ::20:31 :: Major
Update Major Update: Well, it's been a little while since I updated the site, and first off it's been moved to another server for now, pending an eventually permanent home. We've added another member to World Tree, who's working feverishly on a Gameboy Advance graphics engine along with figuring out hardware development addons. The evolution of World Tree continues onward, as it branches out. Tyrian continues with a somewhat singleminded determination to get it done. We switched over development to the Gameboy Advance, and have a game at about alpha state right now, give or take some content, which looks -very- nice. Needs more secrets, though! Oh, and a publisher, too. ChoiceGM finished a demo of it's Playtag game system, and is being pushed to developers to try and get it integrated into upcoming products. And, of course, the events of last year stalled things quite a bit. Amazing how something, just one event, can have such a dramatic effect on everything, but it did, though that was some time ago. Still, it is something that happens, and one must move on after a time. |

| ::5 - 4 - 01 ::23:20 :: Playtag
System ChoiceGM has released a beta version of the Playtag system that World Tree has been working on for a while! This system allows users to play the music they want to (in various formats including mp3s and wma files). Ive been making tags based off of Genesis and Super Nintendo music, myself. Its also event-based, so die and you end up with different songs playing. Lots of fun download it now, as its free and you can use whatever songs you want to. |

| ::11 - 26 - 00 :: 3:45 :: Frozt
Special Wow! Frozt is now the
featured mod at Planet Unreal.
Download it and have fun playing it in Unreal
Tournament. After all, that's why it's there. :) |
